Michael is the author of After Moses. He grew up on Tolkien, Asimov, Herbert—and Star Wars, where his first memory is his mom covering his eyes during the rancor scene. He writes stories about broken people who still believe in light, even if they can’t see it yet. By day, he’s a music director. By night, he dreams of ruins, resurrection, and roads that might still lead home.
