Science Fiction · Fantasy · Books · Community
Smart people, strange worlds, and a weekend worth showing up for.
BasedCon brings together readers, writers, creators, and fans who still believe stories matter, conversation matters, and good communities are built around substance instead of trend-chasing.
What this is
Thoughtful, welcoming, and a little more independent-minded.
A convention for people who love speculative fiction, fantasy, publishing, serious storytelling, and being around others who still care about quality.
